Experience MBC

More than just your usual workplace, MBC is also a meeting point for sports enthusiasts. Extensive gym facilities and a 44-metre heated infinity pool that offers stunning sea views help make MBC a place that balances work and leisure.

MBC’s second phase will add to this, with its fitness stations, basketball courts and futsal courts. It will also be connected to an existing jogging path that meanders through the lush business development to the nearby HortPark and Labrador Park.

As MBC weaves healthy lifestyle into the workplace, it also provides an array of F&B, retail and wellness options – allowing one to switch effortlessly from work to play.

With a planting area of 2.8 hectares, one can stroll along nature paths, explore the garden amphitheatre or seek a moment of repose in any of the open-air roof gardens.

The surrounding canopy of Labrador Park, HortPark, Mount Faber and the Southern Ridges, is brought even closer to the business community, with a luxurious garden setting that has been created by over 1,400 trees in MBC, enhanced further by landscaped walkways and open green spaces.

‘Arts in the City’ is a series of arts performances hosted at MBC, and a collaboration with the National Arts Council to bring arts to the workplace. Apart from adding vibrancy and promoting greater tenant engagement, ‘Arts in the City’ also offers a platform for emerging artists to showcase themselves to the larger MBC working community.

The Conch by FARM

Titled ‘The Conch’ and designed by Singapore art collective, Farm, this 88-stem stainless steel outdoor sculpture stands at the centre of MBC and is visible from all four blocks of the integrated business hub.

The Cascade
by Nola Farman

Designed by Australian artist, Nola Farman, ‘The Cascade’ comprises a series of colourful stainless steel arcs with jets of water cascading downwards onto stepped terraces, brightening up the business atmosphere.

Vast greenery and open spaces make a fine canvas for works of art. MBC is not just a place for the business fraternity, but also where artists can showcase their talents.

Its spaces are accentuated with commissioned art installations by prominent and emerging artists. The artworks lend vibrancy and colour to MBC, making a refreshing work environment that inspires creative thinking.

Regular art performances are also held at MBC through Mapletree’s initiatives such as the ‘Arts in the City’ event series, a collaborative effort with the National Arts Council to bring art performances to the workplace as a way of promoting greater engagement with the working crowd.
